How can we develop students' critical thinking skills in analyzing information, evaluating evidence, and constructing well-reasoned arguments? Highlighting the use of real-world phenomena and authentic data, this session features free HHMI BioInteractive resources that engage students in scientific inquiry and deepen their understanding of core concepts. Grounding student learning in authentic contexts encourages them to ask questions, interpret data, and draw meaningful conclusions. Participants will discuss evidence-based teaching practices and practical approaches to support students’ critical thinking development in their classrooms.
